  • Hanaa El-Hilaly
    Chairperson

    Ms. Hanaa El-Hilaly is currently the Executive Director at El Kheir Microfinance and the Non-Executive Chairman of Aspire Capital Holding company. Prior to that, El-Hilaly is the Former Acting Managing Director, and Director General of International Cooperation and Planning of the Social Fund for Development – Cabinet Of Ministers – Egypt (Currently the MSMEDA)(for over 13 years) mandated as an autonomous organization for job creation and poverty alleviation and economic and social development on all fronts, and is a counterpart with International Donors for Resource Mobilization to finance development aspects. Prior to SFD Ms. El Hilaly enjoyed experience for over 25 years in International, Regional, and DevelLocal Banks in the Areas of Marketing, Trade Finance, Wealth Management, Operations, Internal Control, Human Resources, and Corporate Communications.

     

    Ms. El Hilaly is a member of several associations including but not limited to, member of the board of trustees of; “The Egyptian SMES Association”, “Arab Foundation for Young Scientists.” and “El Nidaa Foundation“. Member of the High Level “Independent Team of Advisers” on the Sustainable Development Dialogue with UN ECOSOC–New York., Member of the Advisory Board of “The Global Council for Women in the Banking Sector, FinTech and Financial Services”- Lafferty Group, Member and one of the Founders of the Global Forum for Advisory Bodies for SDGs initiative of the German Council for Sustainable Development and UN DESA, The Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, Chairperson of the International Cooperation committee and the Small and Micro Enterprises-SMEs Committee of the Canadian Egyptian Business Council CEBC, and member of the American, Canadian and European Business Councils and Chambers of Commerce in Egypt.

     

    Ms.El Hilaly was awarded by the Canadian Ambassador to Egypt for her achievements in Development, partnering with the Canadian International Development Agency “CIDA“. She won an International Award on Middle East Level at a competition organized by International Arbitrators “ CCA”, and was voted as one of the Top 21 businesswomen in EGYPT.

     

    ElHilaly holds a BA from Cairo University and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the American University in Cairo.

  • Mostafa Fawzy
    CEO Aspire Holding

    Moustafa has over 20 years of experience in the financial services, business development, and risk management. Prior to Aspire Holding, Moustafa was the Managing Director of the National Bank of Kuwait Capital Securities Egypt; he set the company’s business strategy, established GCC, Foreign, HNW, and GDR desks, where he expanded the company’s network, and maintained 3% market share of the total daily traded volume in the Egyptian Stock Market.

     

    Moustafa started his career in Beltone Arabia Securities Brokerage Egypt during 2008 as Head of Sales, he managed a number of teams, increasing the company’s client base, pitching to a wide range of Arab clients, setting quarterly goals, analysis, and performance enhancement strategies. A year into his career at Beltone Arabia Securities Brokerage Egypt, Moustafa was appointed as the Managing Director of the firm. He raised capital, cross sold, and distributed the function of the Private Equity, Asset Management, and Investment Banking Deals to both local and GCC investors.

     

    Previous to Belton Arabia Securities Brokerage, Moustafa was the Manager of the Guld sales at Hermes Securities Brokerage. He established direct relationships with clients to assemble suitable investment strategies; and leveraged those relationships to widen the company’s network in the GCC area. He also participated in more than 8 IPOs and 10 Private placements in Egypt. Moustafa’s previous experience was at Sigma Securities Brokerage, as the firm’s Retail Department Manager He handled portfolios with a net worth of EGP 500 million, managed a number of account officers, and achieved his set targets. Formerly, Moustafa’s career started in banks, where he worked as Deputy Section Head, Section Head, and Assistant Manager for Barclays Bank’s Credit Department. He handled a number of projects to improve the Risk Management systems and Credit assessment. In addition, he analyzed proposals and presented studies prepared by the Corporate Credit teams.

     

    Beforehand, Moustafa was a Financial Analyst in NBD’s Corporate Finance Department. He managed a portfolio of 70 different accounts ranging from small and medium enterprises to multinational businesses. He negotiated account status and requirements with clients, handled a number of non-performing loans, applying different strategies allowing the clients to meet the financial obligations and requirements. Moustafa holds a BA in Business Administration from Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from ESLSCA University.
